As most establishment have a history behind its formation, so we in the Anointing Ministries have one too! Many of the Worldly establishments have a Mentor who starts the establishment with an earthly need-based motto, which would cater to set public interest and set establishment’s (own) interest. It is not so when Spiritual Establishment/Ministry is to be formed, for, in the formation of a Spiritual Ministry we need Providential intervention...you need a Divine Call, a Holy Spirit anointed shepherd, an assembly of spiritually thirsty souls in addition to tangible infra structure such as roof to worship, equipments to support the worship.

In the Anointing Ministries we have Sr. Pastor. Samson Edward as the Founder cum Shepherd who, abiding to the Lord’s Call, stepped into the Lord’s arena with a burning zeal to serve His sheep according to Lord’s Will, setting aside his flourishing well-paid factory job at ACC Ltd. Madukkarai(Biggest cement factory in Asia), resigned the same even though he had many decades of service left. His Spiritual Journey started when he accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord thus leading him towards Salvation, way back in Sept 1974. His thirst for the Lord led him to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit on 26th June 1975 and took immersion Baptism on 10th October 1975 thus fulfilling the command Lord Jesus Christ set for every soul, saying “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN”. He then continued in his spiritual journey worshipping and spending time in hours of prayer asking the Lord to lead him it was then in 1978 he heard the Lord’s voice. Then on February 1990 he got married to a like-minded spiritually thirsty Lady and thus started his family life side-by-side with his spiritual life; now, strengthened by his wife at his side. In May 1990 cottage ministry was started in the ACC Quarters with a fewer congregation attending but the attendance gradually increased as many people were getting their prayers answered, miraculous healings were taking place, impossible and failing situation restored, thus elevating the Saints attending the prayer and worship service, to greater spiritual levels. Many testimonies were shared in the meeting thus a need for bigger space to meet and to worship, became a necessity and thus the venue was shifted from ACC quarters to Royal College Hall in 13thDecember 1998.

Amidst growing membership in the church service Pastor. Samson Edward was ordained for full-time service of God and regular services were conducted at Royal College premises. By now it was greatly felt that a church for the Ministry was a must. With fasting and prayer God our Provider JEHOVAH JIREH gave the Ministry a land for the construction of the Church in 2000. In 2001 a church of 30’ x 40’ size hall with simple roof structure was constructed. The Dedication of the church was due on 17th December 2001 but satan whose main job was to enter like, a thief, “only to steal and kill and destroy” John10:10 instigated a group of non-believers who came and stop the proceedings and interrupted the Church Dedication and the church was closed. Though disappointment loomed in the minds of the members and the Pastor, but the HOPE which our Lord has sown in their heart, never extinguished, for our Lord says “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. John10:10 the barricade which the satan had prepared for blocking the church from functioning was destroyed. An application was submitted to the Government Authorities was recommended by S.P. on 17th July 2002, again recommended by the Local Panchayat President on 18th July 2002, again recommended by R.D.O. on 31st August 2002, finally recommended by District Collector and eventually the State Government gave the permission to use the Church venue for Christian Worship. Praising the Mighty God EL GIBBOR the Worship service, the first ONE, was conducted with the Church’s own members and its Pastor Samson Edward and Hosts of ANGELS, on the Sunday of 22nd September 2002 and since then, there was no stopping. Since the proximity of the Church too close to the Military Camp there were interruptions caused by the Military personal from parking the vehicle, movement of members, from sound of the service etc, again church sank down on its knees and pleaded the Mighty God for deliverance from the new hindrance and HE promptly answered and showed a way. On 2nd November 2003 the church received a frantic call for a prayer request for Regiment’s Colonel’s wife, who was seriously ill bed-ridden and with bed-sores and near to life’s end; Pastor and the church pleaded with the Lord Jesus for the healing of the Colonel’s wife and according to the Word “and by HIS wounds we are healed” Isaiah 53:5, the sores were healed and she recovered completely IN THE NAME OF JESUS and came directly to the Church testified and Regiment which objected to the Church’s activities, are now a great helping-hand to the Church.

The Anointing Ministries has grown in leaps and bounds and is now catering to more than 600 souls has completed 8years of ardent service to the Lord God of Heaven and Earth, His Son Jesus Christ and to the Mighty Holy Spirit serving as Pentacostal-Full Gospel-Church of God. The beauty of the Praise and Worship, the soul-stirring sermons, various Spiritual and Social activities of the Church has made it into a fast growing church in Coimbatore, with 4 branches in Tamilnadu, 3 Missionaries in Karnataka, Bihar and Maharastra besides supporting 3 Bihar students in their Education. Indeed this Ministry is God blessed one.

Hence we decided to build a new Multi –storied worship centre cum convention hall of size 50’x100’to accommodate all the members in our premises. By Almighty’s Grace the land given to build the new Worship centre is 25000 sq.ft . For the construction of the above Worship centre, we are in need of approximately Rs. 1 crore ($200,000) as financial support in cash ,DD or cheque.
